DUBAI (Reuters) - Abu Dhabi's Etihad Aviation route's commitment to the U.S. economy will twofold to $6.2 billion by 2020, it said on Wednesday, in a clear counter to claims that administration sponsorships gave it an out of line edge over rivalry.

The air transport will bolster the American economy with 23,400 occupations and $2.9 billion in 2015, as per research by Oxford Financial matters, Etihad said in an announcement.

Both of the figures will about twofold by 2020 as Etihad expands working consumption and capital speculation.

Etihad said the study surveyed its capital consumption with U.S. suppliers and its working use, also the effect of travelers it brought into the nation.

Three U.S. carriers - Delta <DAL.N>, United and American, recently propelled a crusade, requesting their Open Skies settlement with Inlet bearers to be adjusted.
