Adam Levine got a little more "Sugar" than he asked for Wednesday night outside the studio where Jimmy Kimmel Live
is shot. As he was signing autographs following a performance on the
show, someone ran up and threw what looks like powdered sugar on the
Maroon 5 frontman.
The whole scene was captured by fans who were getting autographs at the time and caught in the crosshairs of the attack.
We were all meeting him conversing with him and some gentleman kept running up on him and tossed powder all over him!!!" Kristal Klune composed on Instagram. "Security handled the fellow down and captured him. Adam strolled off, that fellow demolished it for all the fans he was welcoming."
Los Angeles police captured 28-year-old Navid Farsi at the scene. He's as of now in prison, pending $100,000 safeguard. As per police, Farsi is a serial guilty party and Levine is only one of five casualties now squeezing battery charges against him. He's the same man who tossed a stone at The Stone a week ago, so obviously he enjoys a topic. (Side note: kindly don't toss an amazing piano at Nicki Minaj.)
Someone else who saw the assault told CNN that Levine looked seriously miffed. "It appeared as though he needed to battle the gentleman," Laura Tijerina, who was sitting tight for a signature at the time, said. "I think this gentleman had it arranged. It was a chestnut pack with tape around it, which was odd. I simply saw powder all around. It was just so snappy."
The entire thing was gotten on feature also.
Levine had officially taped his meeting with Kimmel at the season of the assault, so they didn't examine it. Adventitiously, they did discuss Levine getting hopped by an overeager fan at a show in California a month ago.
"Is it true that she was a 90 pound, innocuous young lady? Most likely," Levine said. "Did it feel — in light of the fact that it was so jostling and in the minute and my eyes were shut and I was assaulted by some individual — did it feel like a sumo wrestler? Definitely."
A delegate for Levine did not react to a solicitation for input.
In 2012, Kim Kardashian was also assaulted with flour outside the London Lodging in West Hollywood. Ever the expert, she dismissed it.
"You need to ignore it," she said. "I got over and returned right o
